Baking Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil and set aside.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, garlic, and chopped parsley.
- Using a serrated knife, slice the Italian bread diagonally into 1-inch diamonds (be careful not to slice all the way through). Place the bread on top of a large piece of aluminum foil.
- Carefully open the cracks in the bread with your fingers. Drizzle the garlic butter mixture over the bread and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
- Wrap the bread tightly in the foil, covering it completely, and place it on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 15 minutes, or until the cheese is mostly melted. Then, open the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes to make the bread crusty.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, bake the bread for a few more minutes uncovered after removing from the foil.
- Serve immediately while warm for the best experience.
